Ms. Yancy co-anchors FOX 5 News at 5 & 10 pm and contributes to the Newsedge @ 6 and 11 pm. Shawn was awarded the Emmy for "Outstanding News Anchor" in Washington in 2006. She received the 2007 Edward R. Murrow Award for an investigative reporting services on asbestos at the National Institutes of Health. Shawn has been honored with various Associated Press and Golden Quill awards for her reporting on breaking news.
